Spatialist Studio was founded in 2023 as an architectural practice focused on regenerative design, research, and teaching, to provide high quality public space for communities in need. The studio's method of work oscillates between design and research to constantly reinvent the role of the architect for best environmental and social practice.

Iiris and Henri studied architecture in the universities of Bath and Nottingham respectively before reading MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design at the university of Cambridge. While the studio's work widely focuses on public building and place, Iiris's primary typological interest lies with saunas and collective bathing, and Henri's in social housing, following their academic diploma projects.
